In this talk you can expect to learn what Macrobiotics is (note – it’s probably not what you think!!). You will get to know the essence of holistic nutrition, what this means and how this path, along with eating a plant-based diet can affect you on many levels – physically, spiritually, mentally and even emotionally. You’ll also learn how this approach to dietand lifestyle can greatly benefit your own health and wellbeing.
Sharlene has spent the last 10 years practicing, studying and applying the principles of macrobiotics, holistic nutrition and plant-based eating. She will be sharing the guiding principle of creating balance between opposites – also known as yin and yang in Oriental culture. You will begin to understand why this is so relevant and important when it comes to making food and lifestyle choices and how this can be used in a way to avoid many illnesses and improve health and functioning of the body.
