Yamas and Niyamas in our daily lives

This thought provoking yoga workshop, explores the first two limbs of Patanjali’s ‘Yoga Sutras’. Centuries ago, Patanjali laid out a kind of ‘map’, to help us chart our own way to fulfillment and contentment. In addition, to yoga postures (asanas) and meditation, there are certain attitudes and behaviours both to ourself and others that help us along this path.

The first two of these limbs are ‘Yamas’ and ‘Niyamas’ – effectively 10 pillars of wisdomw to lead us to true freedome.

We will have a look at each of these in the workshop and use asanas, pranayama and meditation to look deeper at their significance.

This will be a popular workshop and places will be limited, so you need to book in advance.
