What is Hypnosis?

Hypnosis is the use of trance to make changes at the unconscious level. Far from being an artificial state, it is a state we often find ourselves in during daily life, for example, just before we fully wake up in the morning or that state that allows us to suspend reality when we relax and really enjoy a film or a novel. When we choose to follow instructions, and allow ourselves to enter into trance, our Unconscious Mind can accept new ideas and messages which allow us to make changes that we are already prepared to make. Our Unconscious Mind will always keep us safe, letting us do only what we are ready to do and stopping us from doing what we are not. Hypnosis can very effectively be used between trained coaches and clients to embed and reinforce the messages and beliefs that we have consciously agreed to accept.
