What is Sports Massage?

Sports massage is a form of massage involving the manipulation of soft tissue and is primarily used to to alleviate the stress and tension which builds up in the body during physical activity or just day to day life.

Sports massage is deeper and more intense than traditional Swedish massage (although pressure can be adjusted to suit) and utilises stretching techniques, frictions and trigger point release methods to increase an individuals range of motion, break down knots and help with the recovery and prevention of injury.
